Trailer Talk: Fury

(close - I mean CLOSE - shot of a face)

SHE POSSESSES AWESOME POWERS

(a Borg? is hit by lightning shooting from a console and flies backward,
go to black, Voyager is fleeing a ship and getting smacked around,
B'Elanna and Seven poke consoles on an exploding bridge, Chakotay and
Harry are shaken and stirred)

Tom (from his post):  We're under attack.  (Me:  Duh.)

A FORMER CREW MEMBER IS BACK

(Kes looks stoned, Kes eschews the magic tablecloth trick and savagely
sweeps fancy dishes off a table - guess Janeway burned another roast)

Janeway:  Bridge to Engineering, intruder alert.

(pissed off Kes stalks across a room, Seven and B'Elanna are both both
knocked violently on their butts - nice grunt)

WITH A VENGEANCE

(Kes glares, Tuvok and everyone around him is flung violently to the floor
- nice grunt)

Janeway (nice closeup):  You don't have to destroy this ship.

(Janeway flies through the air away from Kes, her face hits the floor -
guess diplomacy didn't work, she grunts in pain . . . a phaser inches away
from her hand)

(Me:  Man, first The Scream, now a grunt of pain . . . we're getting all
sorts of cool new noises out of Mulgrew this season.)

Kes:  I trusted you.

Janeway:  Kes.  (Me:  Oh, were we supposed to NOT know who that is?  Duh.)

Kes:  No!

(a Voyager corridor blows up violently, a ball of flame shoots
impressively out of Voyager's side)

AN ALL NEW VOYAGER

[One last note from moi.  Last year I was reviewing a movie I'd just seen
and wrote this:  "A sudden quickening of the action followed by an
explosion?  Gotta be a guy thing."  Do we see a Voyager producer
connection here?]
