"Release and Redemption" J/7 [PG]

by Angela McNelly(angelamcnelly@yahoo.com)

In the end there are no answers for the one who is left behind
To face the voices of infinity that invade and suppress the mind.

Their acquiring arms reach through space with singular intent
To convert to use the inner thoughts of this child innocent.

So in between the sable steel and greenish eerie glow,
A wonder of the human race did find a place to grow.

Fragile, delicate is hope and love but impossible to kill.
And in her heart they waited for that auburn headed will.

And with a stubborn, selfless key that only she could hold,
A fiery blue eyed stranger unlocked those chains of cold.

And from the frigid depths of darkness the radiance returned.
And in her soul the silver beauty found fire brightly burned.

This warming brilliance drove her to claim the captain of her heart.
Who when she broke the bonds of sorrow, caused a bond of love to start.

With indocility as her tool she crossed into the light,
Flanked by forces of humanity but focused on one sight.

Smiling  back to find her captain, she held out her hand in plea.
And fingers mixed as one to dawn the perfection they would be.

So when their lips first touched together in a sweet caress of love,
The fit that marked their union was like a hand into a glove.

Their gaping wounds of loneliness were healed with rich devotion,
Wrapped in a shield of gentleness and warmed with sweet emotion.

With harmony they raise their raptured voices in lullaby.
One is singing, 'trust me' and the other, 'I will comply'.

"Survival is insufficient".......*loving* is perfection.
